Harshad Arora Breaks Silence on Preetika Rao’s Shocking Comment, Says: “It Was 12 Years Ago”
Harshad Arora has finally reacted to the shocking accusation made by his Beintehaa co-star Preetika Rao. Recently, Preetika claimed that Harshad is a man who “sleeps with every woman he finds.” Her statement quickly went viral after a fan page posted old romantic scenes from their TV show Beintehaa.
Now, Harshad has responded to her comment and expressed his surprise. Speaking with ETimes TV, Harshad said he was shocked and didn’t understand why she made such a statement now, especially about a show that ended over a decade ago.
He said, “It’s been more than 10 years since Beintehaa ended. I don’t know why she’s saying this now. It feels totally irrelevant.”
Harshad also mentioned that he hasn’t spoken to or stayed in touch with Preetika since the show ended in 2014.
“Yes, we didn’t get along during the shoot, but we were always professional. I’ve never said anything personal about her in public, so this kind of comment is disappointing,” he added.
He also said he heard that someone else might be handling Preetika’s social media account, but he believes she must know what’s going on. Harshad also accused her of not clearing things up or giving any clarification.
The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actor said,
“This show aired almost 12 years ago. It’s time to move on. You can’t keep acting like you’re still playing Aaliya from Beintehaa. It’s time to step out of that fantasy world.”
Calling her comment “unnecessary and uncalled for,” Harshad shared that he’s lucky to have a supportive wife, Muskaan Rajput. He said that the controversy hasn’t affected their relationship, and he’s in a good space personally and professionally.
To recap, Beintehaa aired from December 30, 2013, to November 21, 2014. Preetika played the role of Aaliya, and Harshad played Zain. Their chemistry was loved by fans, but it seems their off-screen relationship was not as smooth.
