Why Did Hina Khan Say ‘Koi Rakhna Nahi Chahta Tha Mujhe’ About Her Childhood? | EXCLUSIVE VIDEO
In a special interview with Pinkvilla, actress Hina Khan opened up about her childhood, career, and her battle with stage three breast cancer. During the conversation, she shared a heartfelt and emotional memory from her childhood that surprised many.
🧒 Hina’s Childhood: “No One Wanted to Keep Me”
When asked about her early days, Hina said,
“Koi rakhna nahi chahta tha mujhe. Ye sach hai.”
(“No one wanted to keep me. That’s the truth.”)
She explained that whenever her mother had to go out, even just for two hours, she would ask her grandmother to watch over the kids. But everyone used to say,
“Ameer ko rakhenge, Hina ko nahi rakhenge. Hina ko sath le jao.”
(“We’ll keep Ameer, but not Hina. Take Hina with you.”)
This made it clear that while her brother Ameer was welcomed, she was not — and the reason was simple: Hina was extremely naughty.
😅 “I Never Listened to Anyone”
Hina admitted that as a child, she was very mischievous.
She said,
“Main kisi ki nahi sunti thi.”
(“I never listened to anyone.”)
She also shared how she once broke someone’s arm and often got into fights.
She laughed while saying,
“Maine haath tode hain, dhakke diye hain, ladayi ki hai.”
(“I’ve broken arms, pushed people, and fought a lot.”)
Despite being good at studies, she didn’t enjoy studying. She mentioned that when she studied, she could score 90%, but usually got 60–70% without much effort. She described herself as a smart and intelligent student, but her naughty behavior made others avoid keeping her.
👰 Hina Khan’s New Beginning
On June 4, Hina surprised everyone when she got married to longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal in a private ceremony. Despite the big event, she returned to work the very next day.
Fans will soon see Hina and Rocky together in an upcoming reality show titled Pati Patni Aur Panga.
Even though Hina was a mischievous child, she grew up to be one of the most loved and strongest actresses on Indian television. Her journey is proof that a naughty kid can grow into a shining star.
