Hina Khan, who is bravely fighting stage 3 breast cancer, recently shared an emotional update about her health on Instagram. As part of her chemotherapy treatment, she has lost most of her eyelashes, but she posted a picture of her last remaining eyelash, calling it her source of motivation during this tough journey.
In her heartfelt post, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star wrote, “Want to know what’s keeping me motivated right now? This one brave, lone eyelash. It used to be part of a beautiful set that framed my eyes. But this last standing warrior has stayed with me, through it all. As I near the end of my chemo, this single eyelash gives me strength. We’ll get through this together.”
She also shared that she’s now using fake eyelashes for her professional shoots. “I haven’t worn false lashes in over a decade, but for my shoots, it’s okay. Everything will be fine soon. DUA,” she added, expressing hope for recovery.
Many celebrities and friends responded to her post with love and encouragement. Dalljiet Kaur wrote, “You will get through this, love. We’re all praying for your recovery.” Juhi Parmar commented, “A beautiful girl with a brave, beautiful heart.” Other stars like Mouni Roy, Drashti Dhami, and Ektaa Kapoor also shared their support.
Hina had revealed her cancer diagnosis in July, sharing the news with her fans and followers. She posted on Instagram, saying, “I have been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.” She also shared a powerful video of herself shaving her head, while her mother watched with tears in her eyes. Hina later had a wig made from her own hair, showing her incredible strength during this challenging time. Recently, she also opened up about dealing with mucositis, a painful side effect of chemotherapy.
