Housefull 5 Day 6 Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s Film Crosses Rs 100 Crore

Housefull 5 Day 6 Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s Comedy Crosses ₹100 Crore in India, Earns ₹7.75 Crore on Wednesday

Housefull 5 is doing well at the Indian box office. The film, led by Akshay Kumar, earned around ₹7.75 crore on its sixth day (Wednesday), bringing its total earnings in India to about ₹108 crore. With this, the movie has officially crossed the ₹100 crore mark, becoming the second-fastest film in the Housefull series to reach this milestone.

Aiming for ₹115 Crore in Week 1

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 is on track to collect around ₹115 crore in its first week. The film has a huge star cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri. It continues to attract audiences with its classic Housefull-style comedy and crazy storyline.

To succeed in the long run, the film needs to stay strong in its second week, especially during the upcoming weekend.

Day-Wise Earnings in India

Here’s how Housefull 5 has performed at the box office in India so far:

DayIndia Net Collection
Day 1₹22 crore
Day 2₹28.25 crore
Day 3₹29 crore
Day 4₹11 crore
Day 5₹9.90 crore
Day 6₹7.75 crore
Total₹107.90 crore

The film’s collection on Tuesday was higher than usual thanks to the ‘Discount Tuesday’ offer at several major theatres. Wednesday’s numbers show a steady hold, which is a good sign. Still, it’s too soon to say how far the movie will go. For Housefull 5 to have a shot at reaching ₹200 crore in India, its second weekend needs to perform very well.

International Performance and Unique Twist

Internationally, the movie is also doing well. It’s expected to earn between USD 7.5 to 8 million (around ₹65 to ₹69.5 crore).

One of the most interesting things about Housefull 5 is its dual-ending format. There are two versions of the movie—Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B—each with a different ending to the murder-mystery plot. This twist has created buzz among fans, though Version A is getting about 70% of the shows, compared to just 30% for Version B. By the second weekend, Version A may dominate even more.

Housefull 5 is still playing in theatres. Have you seen this crazy comedy yet? If so, which ending did you get to watch—A or B?
