On August 15, 1947, India gained its freedom from British rule, marking the victory of many brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives so that the people of India could live free from colonial oppression. This year, as we celebrate the 78th Independence Day, Pinkvilla spoke with Rabb Se Hai Dua actor Dheeraj Dhoopar to hear his thoughts on this important day.
Dheeraj Dhoopar, who plays Subhaan in Rabb Se Hai Dua, shared, “Independence Day is a moment to remember the great sacrifices made by our freedom fighters who courageously fought for our nation’s freedom. As a father, I use this time to teach my son about the bravery and dedication of these heroes. It’s important for the next generation to understand and value the struggles that brought us our independence.”
