Indian Idol 15: Karisma Kapoor Reveals Why Filming ‘Mhare Hiwda Mein Nache Mor’ Was Difficult

Sooraj Barjatya Shares Behind-the-Scenes Details
Touched by the performance, Sooraj Barjatya praises Mysmme and shares an interesting detail about the song’s choreography.
“You have done complete justice to the song. This song was specially made for Karisma, but I was really stressed about Mohnish. The choreography was for all three couples, and after Hum Aapke Hain Koun, it was Mohnish’s turn to dance. Since his character had to keep one hand down, we suggested excusing him. So, he stepped back, and Tabu took over most of the dance. But Karisma handled everything so gracefully.”
Mohnish Bahl and Karisma Kapoor Recall Struggles
Mohnish Bahl laughs as he adds:
“He was first worried about me, but after seeing my dance, he started worrying about himself! That’s when he decided I should keep one hand behind my back (laughs).”
Then, he reminds Karisma about the tough conditions while filming the song:
“Lolo, do you remember the shoot? We were sitting on an elephant in the burning Rajasthan heat! Once we got up, we couldn’t come down because elephants don’t squat on command. We were stuck up there—no water, nothing! At one point, I thought, ‘If I faint, I faint!’ Meanwhile, Karisma and Tabu kept dancing.”
Karisma Kapoor agrees and recalls:
“It was really tough. On screen, everything looks so grand and beautiful, but in reality, the elephant kept moving, and we had to sit there for almost 2–3 hours!”
