Indian Idol 15 Winner Manasi Ghosh Shares Her Plans for Prize Money and Dreams of Singing With Arijit Singh & Sonu Nigam

After her big win, Manasi spoke to Pinkvilla in an exclusive interview. She opened up about how she plans to use her prize money, her experience on the show, and her dreams for the future.
How Will Manasi Use the Prize Money?
When asked about her plans for the prize money, Manasi shared,
“I’m planning to spend my winning amount on my own music. I’ll also save some of it for the future.”
Her Thoughts on the Judges
Manasi had high praise for all three judges—Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal, and Badshah. When asked to describe them in one sentence each, she said:
- “Vishal sir is honest and direct.”
- “Shreya ma’am is sweet and explains things very well.”
- “Badshah sir is the heart of the show.”
Her Favorite Celebrity Moment
Many celebrities appeared on Indian Idol 15 during the season, and Manasi’s favorite was Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. She recalled,
“It was absolutely Akshay sir. I had the most fun with him.”
Dream Collaborations
Manasi is already thinking about what’s next in her singing career. She shared her dream of collaborating with two of the biggest names in Indian music:
“I would love to work with Arijit Singh and Sonu Nigam someday.”
Her Indian Idol Journey
The show ran for over five months, and like every contestant, Manasi had her ups and downs. She explained,
“The biggest challenge was that if you gave a powerful performance one week, the next one had to be even better.”
