India’s Got Talent Controversy: Ranveer & Ashish’s Passport Plea Rejected

India’s Got Latent Controversy: Supreme Court Rejects Ranveer Allahbadia & Ashish Chanchlani’s Plea for Passports; Apoorva Mukhija Takes a Big Step

The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent, which started in February 2025, is still making headlines. Recently, YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani requested the Supreme Court to return their passports. However, the court refused, stating that their request would only be considered after the investigation is complete. Meanwhile, Apoorva Mukhija made a surprising move by deleting all her Instagram posts.

Supreme Court’s Decision

According to an NDTV report, the Supreme Court will review Ranveer and Ashish’s plea after the investigation related to India’s Got Latent is finished. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta mentioned that the plea might be reconsidered in two weeks.

Ranveer Allahbadia told the court that not having his passport is affecting his career since he cannot travel abroad for his shows. However, the Supreme Court felt that allowing him to leave the country might slow down the investigation, so his request was denied. The same decision was made for Ashish Chanchlani.

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court allowed Ashish to resume his podcasts and advised Ranveer to maintain “morality and decency” in his content.

Apoorva Mukhija Deletes All Instagram Posts

In a surprising move, Apoorva Mukhija, who is also involved in the controversy, has deleted all her Instagram posts, including brand endorsements. Known online as The Rebel Kid, Apoorva had taken a break from social media after the controversy erupted on February 10.

On March 14, she posted a cryptic message on her broadcast channel, saying,
“Diwaaron ke bhi kaan hote hain” (Even walls have ears).

Now, her Instagram page is completely empty, and she has zero followers.

India’s Got Latent Episodes Removed

Following the controversy, all episodes of India’s Got Latent were removed from YouTube.
