Comedian Samay Raina is still facing issues after the controversy surrounding his show India’s Got Latent. His upcoming stand-up shows in Delhi have now been canceled.

Delhi Shows Canceled
According to the Hindustan Times, Samay Raina’s “Unfiltered” show, which was scheduled for March 21 and March 23 at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi, has been canceled.
- Both shows were sold out on BookMyShow.
- Just days before the event, BookMyShow sent a cancellation message to ticket holders.

Attendees received a message stating:
“Your Samay Raina Unfiltered – Talkatora Stadium Show scheduled on Fri Mar 21 2025 (or Sun Mar 23 2025) at 7:00 PM has been canceled. Sorry for the inconvenience. A refund has been processed, and the amount should reflect in your account within 7 to 10 working days.”
Neither BookMyShow nor Samay Raina has given a reason for the cancellation.
Earlier Show Cancellations in Gujarat
- Last month, Samay Raina’s Gujarat shows (scheduled for April) were canceled due to backlash over India’s Got Latent.
- The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed that tickets for these shows were removed from BookMyShow.
The Controversy
The issue started when creators like Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Ashish Chanchlani made controversial statements on India’s Got Latent.
- Ranveer asked a question about parental s*x, and Apoorva made an inappropriate remark about vaginas.
- These comments sparked outrage, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against them.
- Many politicians and celebrities criticized them for promoting obscenity.
Following the backlash, Samay Raina deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from YouTube.
