Samay Raina is ‘depressed, sad, and scared,’ says YouTuber Shwetabh Gangwar amid India’s Got Latent controversy
The controversy around Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, is still making headlines, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Now, YouTuber Shwetabh Gangwar has spoken about it, revealing how the situation has affected Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, and others.
Shwetabh Gangwar’s Reaction to the Controversy
On March 3, Shwetabh Gangwar posted a video on his YouTube channel, Gangsta Perspectives. In the video, he watched and reacted to Ashish Chanchlani’s emotional statement, where Ashish asked his fans for support amid the backlash. This was Ashish’s first public response since the controversy started.
After watching the video, Gangwar talked about how online hate deeply affects creators, even if they try to ignore it. He pointed out that constant negativity gets into their heads, making it hard to move forward.
Gangwar titled his video “Ashish Chanchlani looks emotionally broken” and urged people to stop spreading unnecessary hate. He believes that these YouTubers should be forgiven because they understand their mistakes. He said, “Samay, Ranveer, Ashish, Apoorva—these people are in survival mode.”
Samay Raina’s Mental State
According to the Free Press Journal, Gangwar shared in a now-deleted video how badly the controversy has impacted Samay Raina. He said, “Bhai, he is a broken man. When the controversy first started, I could still see the old Samay. But when I spoke to him last time, I saw a different person—depressed, sad, and scared.”
Supreme Court’s Comments on Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina
Meanwhile, during a recent Supreme Court hearing regarding Ranveer Allahbadia’s plea to restart his podcast, Justice Surya Kant criticized Samay Raina, calling him “oversmart.” The judge even mocked Samay for joking about the controversy during his Canada tour.
However, the Supreme Court has now allowed Ranveer Allahbadia to continue his podcast, as long as he ensures that the content remains respectful, moral, and suitable for all audiences.
