India’s Got Talent’s Samay Raina Spotted Singing on London Streets Amid Ranveer Allahbadia Row

Samay Raina’s Old Video Goes Viral Amid India’s Got Latent Controversy

A video of comedian Samay Raina singing on the streets of London has resurfaced online and is now going viral. This clip was recorded before the controversy surrounding the YouTube show India’s Got Latent and the FIRs filed against him.

Samay Raina’s London Jamming Video Resurfaces

The dark comedy show India’s Got Latent sparked massive outrage due to its controversial content, which didn’t sit well with the audience, authorities, or the law. Samay Raina, the host of the show, was called in for questioning after accusations of promoting vulgar and obscene content. The controversy escalated after guests like Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija made inappropriate remarks, leading to public backlash.

As Samay faces legal trouble, an old video of him singing on the streets of London has caught people’s attention. Pakistani singer Amir Hashmi had originally posted the clip on Instagram on February 6, just days before the controversy erupted. In the video, Samay and Amir are seen singing together, while passersby stop to listen and capture the moment on their phones.

India’s Got Latent Sparks Backlash

The controversy started after Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija’s comments in an episode of India’s Got Latent went viral. Ranveer’s remarks about parents’ personal lives and Apoorva’s statements led to severe criticism. The backlash didn’t just affect them—it also impacted others involved in the episode.

Several FIRs were filed against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and others in Assam, Mumbai, and Jaipur. On February 17, the National Commission for Women (NCW) summoned them for questioning, but none of them appeared, citing various reasons.

Due to their absence, the NCW issued a new hearing date. Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, Tushar Poojari, and Saurabh Bothra are now required to appear on March 6, while Samay Raina, Jaspreet Singh, and Balraj Ghai have been summoned on March 11.

All Episodes of India’s Got Latent Deleted

As the controversy grew, Samay Raina and the show’s creators deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from YouTube. Meanwhile, comedian Harsh Gujral, known for hosting The Escape Room, also took down all episodes of his show, possibly in response to the situation.

This controversy continues to develop, and many are waiting to see what happens next.
