CID Teaser: Inspector Daya is Back with a Bang!
The much-loved show CID is making a grand return to TV, and fans are thrilled. Starting December 21, CID will air on Sony TV every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM. To keep the excitement alive, the makers have been sharing teasers featuring the original cast.
In the latest teaser, Dayanand Shetty, who plays the iconic Inspector Daya, is seen in action. Known for breaking down doors, Daya takes things up a notch this time. After a bomb blast scene, he bends a criminal’s gun and says, “Jabse tum nishana lagana seekh rahe the na, tabse yeh Daya banduke tod raha hai” (Since the time you learned to aim, Daya has been breaking guns).
The teaser, shared on November 6, came with a caption:
“Naye season me Daya sirf darwaze nahi todega, bandooke bhi tutengi! #CID waapis aa raha hai 21st December se, Sat-Sun raat 10 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.”
Fans can’t contain their excitement. One commented, “OMG! Can’t wait for CID.” A few days earlier, the makers also dropped the trailer with the tagline: “Unki kahani abhi baki hai, jinka bas naam hi kaafi hai” (Their story isn’t over yet; their name is enough).
