The grand finale of Indian Idol 15 was held on April 6, 2025. The show was judged by Shreya Ghoshal, Badshah, and Vishal Dadlani. As the season came to an end, Vishal made an emotional announcement — he is saying goodbye to Indian Idol. He confirmed that this was his last season as a judge and he won’t be returning in the future.
Why is Vishal Dadlani Leaving?
Vishal shared a video on Instagram where he explained his decision. In the video, he was seen with his fellow judges Shreya and Badshah. They all looked cheerful and close, showing their strong bond.
In his caption, Vishal wrote:
“Alvida, yaaro. The fun I had in 6 seasons, I’ll miss it even more. Got more love than I ever expected from this show. I’ll always be grateful.”
He also mentioned that being a part of the show kept him tied down in Mumbai for six months every year. He now wants to focus more on his personal time and music career.
What Did He Say Further?
Vishal added:
“I hope the show misses me like I’ll miss it. I’m only leaving because I want my time back. It’s time to get back to music, concerts, and no more make-up! It’s #VishalAndSheykhar season now. Jai ho!”
He also thanked everyone who worked with him during his time on the show. He apologized if he forgot to mention anyone and sent love to all.
