Jaat Box Office Update: Earns ₹39 Crore in 4 Days, Becomes Sunny Deol’s Second Biggest Opener
Sunny Deol’s latest film Jaat is doing well at the box office. In just four days, it has earned around ₹39 crore, making it his second biggest opening after Gadar 2.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat saw a big jump in collections on Sunday, especially in single-screen cinemas across smaller towns (B and C centres), where many shows were sold out. The film made between ₹13.25 to ₹14.25 crore on its fourth day. The total for the four days is around ₹39 crore, and with Ambedkar Jayanti on Monday, the film is expected to keep doing well.
While Jaat started strong in single-screen theatres, it’s now also pulling in crowds at multiplexes. This shows that the movie is getting attention from a wider audience. If the collections stay steady on Tuesday, the movie’s five-day total could cross ₹50 crore, giving it a strong chance at becoming a hit.
A near ₹40 crore opening weekend is a great result for a Sunny Deol film in 2025. In fact, this four-day total is more than the lifetime earnings of his other films from the past 25 years, except Gadar, Gadar 2, and Yamla Pagla Deewana. However, the film’s budget is high, so it needs to earn close to ₹100 crore to be considered a full success.
Right now, Jaat has the second-highest opening weekend ever for a Sunny Deol film, only behind Gadar 2, which made over ₹130 crore in just 3 days. By the end of the first week, Jaat could become Sunny’s third biggest film, and if it continues to do well, it might end up as his second highest grosser, right after Gadar 2, which earned ₹500 crore.
Here’s a quick look at the opening weekend collection of Jaat:
Thursday: ₹9.00 crore
Friday: ₹6.75 crore
Saturday: ₹9.50 crore
Sunday (expected): ₹13.75 crore
Total: ₹39.00 crore (expected)
If the film holds strong during the weekdays, it has a real chance to cross the finish line successfully. The journey looks promising so far!
