In the latest promo for The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2, Janhvi Kapoor shared a fun story about how her parents, Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi, embraced each other’s cultures after marriage.
About the Upcoming Episode
After a great start with guests like Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Karan Johar, and Vasan Bala in the first episode, the next chapter will feature the stars of the movie Devara. The promo shows Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Jr NTR having fun moments with the host, Kapil Sharma. During their chat, Janhvi revealed how her dad, Boney Kapoor, started to turn into a South Indian after marrying Sridevi. However, Sridevi also picked up a classic North Indian habit.
A Fun Mix of North and South
With Devara actors Saif Ali Khan from the Hindi film industry and Jr NTR from the South, Kapil Sharma humorously said, “Jab north aur south milte hain toh maza double ho jaata hai” (When north meets south, it doubles the fun). In one segment, Kapil asked Jr NTR which actor from the North Indian industry he liked the most, and Jr NTR replied, “Sridevi always.” Saif Ali Khan added, “No, Sridevi is my answer from the South.”
Janhvi then shared, “My dad had already converted. He had idli sambhar instead of aloo paranthas in the morning. But honestly, by the end of it, Mom began arguing like a North Indian.”

The promo also showed Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda dressed as Rajmaata Shivagami and Kattappa from the movie Baahubali. Sunil Grover made everyone laugh with his funny character as well.
A Funny Complaint from Jr NTR
Jr NTR jokingly complained about Janhvi Kapoor, saying, “Jab yeh Hyderabad mein shooting kar rahe the, maine do baar achha khana bheja. Yahan aaye huye mujhe ek din ho gaya, ek tukda bhi nahi aaya. Inke haath ka chhodo, hotel ka delivery bhi nahi aaya” (When she was shooting in Hyderabad, I sent her food twice. I’ve been here for a day now, and she hasn’t sent me anything—not even hotel food, let alone something she cooked herself).
