Watch the hilarious video of Jethalal and Champaklal in FIR here:
In this clip from FIR, Dilip Joshi and Amit Bhatt act as brothers who come to the police station. Amit Bhatt plays the elder brother, Pattu, while Dilip Joshi is the younger one, Khattu.
Introducing themselves in a quirky way, Khattu says, “My name is Khattu Kharoja tehelte tehelte,” and Pattu says, “My name is Pattu Kharoja ghumte ghumte.” The police officers get confused hearing such funny names!
Both brothers start complaining about each other. Pattu says Khattu hit him, while Khattu says they both hit each other. Then, Khattu demands that the police file an FIR against Pattu, and Pattu also says the same about Khattu!
During the argument, Khattu mistakenly calls Head Constable Gopinath Gandotra an inspector and then quickly corrects himself. This adds even more comedy to the scene.
Though the video ends there, this was a rare and fun moment for fans of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, who got to see Dilip Joshi and Amit Bhatt in new, funny roles.
Talking about FIR, it was one of the most popular comedy shows on Indian TV. It starred Kavita Kaushik as the lead and ran successfully from July 2006 to January 2015.
