Jiya Shankar Hits Back at Trolls Linking Her with Abhishek Malhan and Dragging Her Family: ‘I’m Way Above These Cheap Stunts’
Jiya Shankar, who gained popularity from her time on Bigg Boss OTT 2, has firmly shut down rumors about being linked to Abhishek Malhan. The actress angrily called out trolls for dragging her and her family into unnecessary controversies, making it clear she won’t tolerate such behavior.
For a long time, rumors about Jiya and Abhishek’s relationship have been trending online. While the two shared a good friendship during their time in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, Jiya has repeatedly clarified that there’s nothing more between them. Despite this, trolls and meme pages continue to spread false stories.
Fed up with the rumors, Jiya lashed out on social media. Responding to a user on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:
“I’m saying this ONE LAST TIME for whoever it concerns! I have nothing to do with Fukra Insaan or these meme pages. We shared nothing but friendship, and even that doesn’t exist anymore. I don’t follow these meme pages or know how this works.”
She didn’t hold back, adding:
“I always thought this was just for views, or maybe someone pays for this nonsense. But when it turns into nasty comments about my character and my family, listen up, Panda Gang: I’M SELF-MADE, LOUD & PROUD! I’m where I am because of ME, not anyone else. I’m way above these CHEAP STUNTS! So stay in your lane and keep my mother’s and my name out of your filthy mouths.”
Earlier, in an exclusive interview, Jiya addressed trolls who called her “desperate” and accused her of chasing Abhishek. She strongly denied the claims, saying, “I would never run after a man. I have everything I need and have achieved it all on my own.”
On the work front, Jiya is known for her roles in TV shows like Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Kaatelaa & Sons. She has also acted in the Marathi film Ved.
