Justin Bieber recently shared the heartbreaking news that his grandfather, Bruce Dale, has passed away.
The singer first announced the sad news on Instagram with an emotional tribute. Now, he has shared a special throwback video to remember his late grandfather.

Justin posted a short but very touching clip on Instagram, taken when he was just a little boy.
In the video, young Justin is seen running happily toward his grandpa, giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek and a big hug. Bruce Dale then lifts Justin up lovingly.
The video has no sound, but the emotions are clear. Justin simply captioned it, “I love you papa. I love you and miss you forever.”

According to People, an online obituary from a funeral home in Stratford, Ontario — Justin’s hometown — shared that Bruce Dale passed away on April 24 at the age of 80.
The obituary also said that Bruce died peacefully at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Dale, and his children: Candie Toper, Chris Mallette, Chri Dale, and Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette.

Before sharing the video, Justin had already posted a heartfelt tribute photo with his grandfather.
The picture, taken in November 2009 in Ontario — just days before Justin released his first album My World — showed a sweet moment between them.

In his emotional message, Justin wrote,
“I can’t wait to see you again soon in heaven. I will miss you. I will ache. And I’ll sit and let myself remember all of the wonderful times we’ve had.”
