Justin Bieber Shares Rare, Sweet Photo With Wife Hailey Amid Grandfather’s Death and Divorce Rumors

Justin Bieber posted a rare and loving selfie with his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram, showing fans how close they still are. In the picture, Hailey rests her head gently on Justin’s shoulder. He kept the caption simple, using just a smiling face with a tear emoji — showing both love and emotion.
This post came during a tough time for Justin, as he is mourning the loss of his grandfather, Bruce Dale.

On Saturday, Justin shared that his grandfather, Bruce Dale — who was his mom Pattie Mallette’s father — had passed away. According to an obituary from W.G. Young Funeral Home in Stratford, Ontario, Bruce died peacefully at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Thursday at the age of 80.

Justin also posted a heartfelt old photo of himself as a teenager with Bruce. In an emotional message, he wrote,
“Papa, I always took all your money lol. I remember you told me grandma gave you only 20 dollars for the whole week! I would always convince you to spend it on snacks at the hockey games. Even though you didn’t want to, you always gave it to me for corn nuts, Skittles, gum balls, chuck-a-puck, and slush puppies.”

He continued, “I can’t wait to see you again in heaven. Until then, I know you’re up there, probably still teasing Beatty or Fagon for missing a cross-check call at the hockey game. I will miss you. I’ll feel the ache and sit and remember all our good times.”

The obituary mentioned that Bruce is survived by Justin, Hailey, and their son Jack-Blues, along with Bruce’s wife Diane and other children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bruce had always been one of Justin’s biggest supporters. He even appeared in Justin’s 2011 documentary Never Say Never and spoke about Justin’s success in a 2018 interview at the Stratford Perth Museum.

At the same time as dealing with this loss, Justin is also facing rumors about trouble in his marriage.
On Instagram Stories, he responded to the gossip by writing, “They treat me like trash out here, but I remember I’m flawed too and God forgave me.”
He added, “It helps me stop feeling better than people who are mean and hurtful because, honestly, I can be mean and hurtful too.”

Talking about his relationship with Hailey, Justin made it clear that they are doing well. He wrote, “Honestly, if I were you, it would be hard not to be jealous of me and Hailey. We’re going crazy in love. Things are only getting better for us, and I understand why some people can’t stand it. I don’t blame them.”
He even joked that he and Hailey are like the famous “Joneses” that people try — but fail — to keep up with.
