Kajol Spills Maa’s Climax Secrets: Ajay Devgn’s Surprising Role

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Kajol Reveals Climax Details of Maa — “Ajay Devgn Shot Some Action Scenes”

Actress Kajol is making a powerful return to the big screen with her upcoming film Maa. Produced by her husband Ajay Devgn, the movie features her in a strong role as a mother who faces supernatural forces to protect her daughter. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Kajol shared some interesting behind-the-scenes details, especially about the action-packed climax of the film.

During the interview, Kajol was asked about a photo that had surfaced online, showing Ajay Devgn directing her on set. The scene appeared to be part of the film’s dramatic ending. So, how involved was Ajay in the film creatively?

Kajol replied,
“Yes, that was likely from the climax. He did shoot a few parts of the climax. Creatively, of course, he was involved—he’s the producer. He sat with the team on the script and has been a part of the film throughout. But let me be clear, Vishal (Furia) is definitely the director.”

She added,
“Ajay shot some of the action scenes in the climax. And there’s also a lot of VFX involved, which is a whole different world. I think people don’t realize how much work goes into the VFX process unless they’ve seen it up close. And Ajay is very passionate about it—he’s deeply involved.”
