To mark the occasion, Karan shared a throwback picture of Sushant, Rajkummar Rao, and Amit Sadh from Kai Po Che on his Instagram story. He wrote,
“12 years of this masterpiece. Miss you #Sushi 💔.”

Karan Veer Mehra on His Bond with Sushant

Karan often shares memories of his deep friendship with Sushant. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla’s Behind the Success show, he opened up about their bond.

He revealed a sweet detail about their friendship:
“I haven’t told anyone before, but we used to call each other ‘Kameeni’.”

He also shared how much he misses Sushant and said,
“I wish he was here to see this. He always believed in me and told me I was talented. He wanted me to succeed.”

Karan also revealed that whenever he felt low or demotivated, Sushant helped him bounce back. He even credited Sushant for helping him get a role in the film Badmashiyaan.

“I’ll take to the grave that I couldn’t do the same for him because he was always there for me.”
