Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 comes to an end
The popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, has finally concluded after entertaining fans for nearly 7 months. Over the years, the show has helped many contestants win life-changing amounts of money. In the last episode, Big B bid farewell to the season with a heartfelt message.
Amitabh Bachchan’s emotional farewell
Sony TV shared a video from the final episode on their official Instagram page. In the clip, Amitabh Bachchan talks about his journey on the show and expresses his gratitude to the audience.
He said:
“At the start of every season, I always wonder – after so many years, will I still see the same love and connection in the eyes of my audience?”

Continuing his speech, the Piku actor added:
“By the end of each season, I realize that this show, this stage, and all my experiences have given me so much more than I ever expected. I hope this bond remains strong forever.”
Big B further shared:
“If our efforts have even slightly touched someone’s life or if our words have inspired someone, then I will consider our 25-year journey a success. I will meet you all again in the next season.”
He also encouraged the audience to believe in their dreams and hard work before saying his final goodbye:
“I, Amitabh Bachchan, for the last time this season, from this stage, want to say – Good night.”
Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 journey
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 started on August 16, 2024, and aired its final episode on March 11, 2025.
