The latest episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 was full of emotions. On the live episode aired on August 18, Aditi Sharma was eliminated from the reality show after losing a tough challenge against Shalin Bhanot. She was nominated for the elimination by Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia.
During the episode, host Rohit Shetty asked captain Nimrit to choose two contestants from her team for the elimination stunt. Nimrit picked Aditi Sharma and Shalin Bhanot, based on their performance in a previous water task where their team, including Gashmeer Mahajani, lost to Sumona Chakravarti’s team. Nimrit explained that she didn’t choose Gashmeer and Niyati Fatnani because they had performed well in earlier challenges.
Nimrit, who is known for her role in Choti Sarrdaarni, explained that she prioritized herself over Shilpa Shinde due to the challenges she faced in the previous week. She pointed out that Shilpa outperformed Shalin in the stunt, which led to Shalin and Aditi being nominated. Aditi, feeling hurt, tearfully said she felt betrayed but promised to do her best in the task.
Rohit Shetty then explained the elimination stunt to Aditi and Shalin. The task involved putting their heads inside a rotating box, while another box filled with cockroaches and scorpions was used in the challenge. After five minutes, the winner would be the one who collected the most scorpions. They weren’t allowed to watch each other perform.
Aditi managed to collect 151 scorpions, but Shalin collected 168, beating her by 17 scorpions. With a heavy heart, Aditi said goodbye to the show, reflecting on how much she had pushed herself. Nimrit and Aditi made up, with Nimrit reassuring Aditi that she had no other choice and didn’t want her to hold any resentment.
