Krushna Abhishek Questions Govinda About Sunita Ahuja’s Absence on The Great Indian Kapil Show; Kapil Sharma’s Witty Reply Leaves All Laughing
The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show was filled with laughter, emotions, and a long-awaited reunion. Govinda, along with Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor, graced the stage, marking a special moment as Govinda reunited with his nephew Krushna Abhishek after their seven-year feud.
When Krushna came on stage for his act, he warmly hugged his uncle Govinda, bringing tears to his sister Arti Singh’s eyes. The audience applauded the heartfelt moment. Praising his uncle, Krushna called him “Maama number 1,” setting the tone for a fun-filled performance.
During the act, Kapil Sharma jokingly asked Krushna not to bore everyone. Adding to the humor, Govinda said, “Thode din pehle jab mujhe goli lag gayi thi, toh aake kitna roya. Ab leg piece pe joke suna raha hai (A few days ago, when I got shot, he cried so much, and now he’s cracking jokes about it).”
Krushna lightheartedly asked Govinda which actress he shared the best on-screen pairing with. Govinda sweetly replied that his pairing with his wife, Sunita Ahuja, was the best. Krushna teased, “Toh unko yaha par le aate, inko kyu takleef diya? (Then you should’ve brought her here. Why trouble him?)”
Kapil Sharma, quick with his wit, quipped, “Unko le aate toh aap nahi aate (If she had come, you wouldn’t have been here),” leaving everyone in splits.
Govinda also shared a funny story about actress Shilpa Shetty visiting him after his leg injury. He humorously revealed that Shilpa jokingly assumed his wife Sunita was the one who shot him.
Later, Krushna joked about how he rarely visits Govinda’s house, prompting Govinda to tease him, “Tere bohot intezaar kar rahi hai voh (Sunita is waiting for you).”
Kapil urged Krushna to sit beside Govinda, where they had a heartfelt conversation. Govinda reassured Krushna, saying, “Usme meri taraf se tumhare liye kabhi vanvas nahi tha (There was never any exile for you from my side).” He explained that their issues were due to bad luck and clarified that he never wanted to block Krushna’s progress.
Govinda revealed that his wife, Sunita, had encouraged him not to be upset with Krushna and to let him focus on his work. He asked Krushna to apologize to Sunita, saying she still loves him. Krushna responded with sincerity, “I love her too. If there’s any such feeling, I am really sorry. I love her very much.”
For those unaware, the feud between Govinda and Krushna began seven years ago, with Sunita expressing disappointment in Krushna’s behavior. This reunion on The Great Indian Kapil Show seemed to be a step toward mending their bond.
The episode brought laughs, emotions, and a glimmer of hope for better relations within the family.
