This special episode is being aired to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11. But what really touched everyone’s hearts was Krushna Abhishek’s emotional confession about his late mother and childhood.

In the promo, the mothers of contestants like Ankita Lokhande, Elvish Yadav, Samarth Jurel, and Nia Sharma are seen cooking and having fun with their children. Amid the light moments, Krushna Abhishek opened up about a very personal part of his life.

He shared that his mother passed away when he was just 2 years old, and it was his mother’s close friend, Geeta aunty, who took care of him and his sister Aarti Singh. She had promised his mother that she would raise them as her own—and she did just that.

“When I was two years old, my mother died. Geeta aunty promised her, ‘I will raise your kids.’ When Aarti recently got married, she told me, ‘I have kept my promise.’”

Krushna, holding back tears, added:

“She’s a true example of friendship. I love you, and I want to say this in front of the whole world. Also, she’s the one who taught me how to cook.”

His story moved all the contestants, and many were seen wiping away tears.
