OTT Pressure on Kuberaa’s Makers
Behind the scenes, however, there’s been some pressure. The film’s producer revealed that their OTT partner, Prime Video, had warned them that ₹10 crore would be cut from their post-release deal if the movie didn’t release on the agreed date.
So, the makers are working hard to stick to the planned schedule and ensure a smooth release.
Runtime and Censor Certificate
Kuberaa is set to be a long movie, with a total runtime of 3 hours and 15 minutes. It has also received a UA 13+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), meaning it’s suitable for audiences above 13, with parental guidance for younger viewers.
Originally, the trailer was supposed to come out on June 13, but it was delayed and was instead showcased during the film’s pre-release event.
Dhanush’s Powerful Words to His Supporters
During the pre-release event, Dhanush made headlines for his bold speech. He addressed the negative rumours and criticism often directed at him just before his movie releases. But he made it clear that such negativity doesn’t affect him anymore.
He said:
“You can spread as many rumours and negative stories as you want about me. Every time a movie of mine is about to release, people try to bring me down. But it never works—because my fans are my strongest support.”
