Kumkum Bhagya, which now stars Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra as the leads, has been winning a lot of love from viewers. Over the years, many popular couples have been part of the show. Recently, Pinkvilla held a poll asking fans to vote for their favorite on-screen couple from the show — and the results are out!

Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra Take the Top Spot

On April 24, Pinkvilla asked viewers to pick their favorite couple from Kumkum Bhagya. Five famous on-screen couples were nominated:

• Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia
• Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar
• Rachi Sharma and Abrar Qazi
• Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra
• Shraddha Arya and Shakti Anand

Among all, Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra won the poll with 51.56% of the votes!
In the show, Pranali plays Prarthana and Akshay plays Raunak. Fans seem to be really loving their chemistry and performances.

Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia Are Close Behind

After Pranali and Akshay, the original leads — Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia — came second with 29.69% of the votes.
This shows that even though new actors have joined, viewers still remember and love the old iconic jodi.

Changes in the Storyline

Pranali and Akshay became the new leads after Rachi Sharma and Abrar Qazi’s track ended.
To add more drama, the makers recently introduced Shraddha Arya and Shakti Anand, who are now playing Prarthana’s parents.
Interestingly, Shraddha and Shakti were also the leads in Kundali Bhagya, a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya.

Kumkum Bhagya first aired on April 15, 2024, and continues to entertain viewers every day at 9 PM.
