EXCLUSIVE: Kumkum Bhagya’s Simran Budharup Talks About Rejections in the Industry
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Kumkum Bhagya actress Simran Budharup opened up about dealing with rejections in the acting world and shared why this happens.
Simran Budharup, known for her impressive acting in Kumkum Bhagya, has built a strong fan base over the years. Despite her success, she shared that facing rejections is a normal part of the entertainment industry. She explained that even well-known actors experience rejection because of the high level of competition.
When asked about her thoughts on rejections and the growing competition, Simran said, “Rejections are a part of life. No matter how famous you are, especially on TV, you will face rejections due to intense competition. A hard truth is that some people are willing to work for less, which can cause you to miss out on opportunities.”
She continued, “Sometimes, the makers might feel you don’t fit a particular role even though you might fit another. This is just how it is. When you enter this industry, you have to accept that rejections are part of the process.”
Simran also noted that it’s normal for even well-known actors to be rejected in 9 out of 10 projects. “One project might come through, but it’s accepted that rejection is part of the journey. If you don’t accept it, you might start feeling discouraged.”
