The latest episode of Shark Tank India 4 featured an emotional pitch from 64-year-old Champa, the founder of Krishna Sakhi, a brand that makes jewelry for God’s idols. Her journey, inspired by devotion to Lord Krishna, deeply touched the sharks, especially Kunal Bahl.

A Business Built on Devotion

Champa shared that her love for Lord Krishna led her to design jewelry—first for her own idols and later for devotees across India. What started as an act of faith soon became a successful business, with Krishna Sakhi becoming famous for its handcrafted designs. She proudly mentioned that her jewelry is even used to decorate the Radha Krishna idol at the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, leaving the Shark Tank India 4 panelists in awe.

Champa’s Pitch and the Sharks’ Reactions

Champa sought ₹37.5 lakh in exchange for 2.5% equity to expand her business. When Aman Gupta asked if managing a business at her age was tough, she responded positively, saying that her work brings her joy and purpose rather than stress. Her determination won over all the sharks.

Even Anupam Mittal questioned whether Krishna Sakhi should be called a business at all since it was rooted in devotion rather than profit.

Kunal Bahl’s Emotional Response

While Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and others encouraged her to grow the business independently, Kunal Bahl was visibly moved by her story. He admitted feeling emotionally connected and tempted to invest but wasn’t sure about the business’s scalability.

“Mujhe aap mein apni maa dikh rahi hai… Mera dil haan keh raha hai, par dimaag na bol raha hai” (I see my mother in you. My heart says yes, but my mind says no), Kunal confessed, struggling with his decision.

Despite being deeply touched by Champa’s journey, Kunal decided not to invest in the end. However, her story left a lasting impact on him and the other sharks.
