Laughter Chefs Season 2: Samarth Jurel Injures Hand While Cooking on Set
The much-loved show Laughter Chefs is returning with its second season, hosted by Bharti Singh. Fans are excited about the mix of comedy and cooking once again, with new celebrity participants joining the fun. However, recent reports reveal that Bigg Boss 17 fame Samarth Jurel had an unfortunate accident while filming for the show.
What Happened?
Samarth Jurel, one of the new contestants, was seen heading to his vanity van when paparazzi caught up with him. When asked to stop for photos, he told them, “Bhai, haat jal gaya mera (Bro, my hand got burnt).”
The injury reportedly occurred on set while Samarth was preparing a dish as part of the show’s challenge.
Not the First Accident on Laughter Chefs
This isn’t the first time a contestant has faced such an incident on Laughter Chefs. In the previous season, actress Reem Shaikh suffered facial scars while cooking during one of the challenges.

The format includes participants receiving a dish to recreate, complete with a demo video by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, who serves as the judge. Celebrities then gather ingredients, utensils, and prepare the dish from scratch—without any assistance.
