The Family Man: Manoj Bajpayee is a Fan of Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Tauba Tauba’ – His Co-star Reveals a Fun Moment from the Set

Manoj Bajpayee, who became a household name with his role as Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man, is not just a brilliant actor—turns out, he’s also a great dancer! Actress Priyamani, who plays his wife Suchitra in the series, recently shared a fun story about Manoj surprising everyone on set by doing Vicky Kaushal’s famous Tauba Tauba dance move.

While speaking to Humans of Bombay, Priyamani said that Manoj is not only amazing on screen but also a lot of fun to work with. She revealed that one day on the set, they were all talking about Vicky Kaushal’s catchy Tauba Tauba song. The young actor Vedant Sinha, who plays Atharv in the show, started doing the dance move. Everyone loved it and asked him to teach them.

That’s when Manoj Bajpayee joined in. He said the step was easy—and then he actually did it! “We were all shocked. No one expected it, but he nailed it,” Priyamani said, laughing. She added that it was such a fun moment, but sadly, no one recorded it.

What’s Next for Manoj Bajpayee?

On the work front, Manoj is working with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey on a new movie that starts shooting on April 18, 2025, in Mumbai. At first, the film was supposed to star both Manoj and Kay Kay Menon. However, due to scheduling issues, Kay Kay couldn’t join, and actor Saqib Saleem was brought in as a replacement.

According to a source, the film will also feature Akshay Oberoi in an important role. Neeraj Pandey is creatively leading the project, while Ritesh Shah will make his directorial debut with this film.
