Manoj Kumar Death: Sudhanshu Pandey Remembers the Legend, Shares Childhood Memories of His Films
Veteran actor Manoj Kumar passed away on the morning of April 4, 2025, at the age of 87. Known for his unforgettable contributions to Indian cinema as both an actor and director, his passing has left many in shock and sorrow. People from the entertainment world and beyond are paying tribute to the late icon.
Actor Sudhanshu Pandey, a well-known name in the TV and film world, also shared his grief in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla. He remembered watching Manoj Kumar’s patriotic movies as a child and said those films left a deep impact on him.
Sudhanshu said,
“We’ve lost a legend. I watched many of his films growing up, and they were always full of inspiration. His movies, especially Purab Aur Paschim, carried such strong messages for society. He really set high standards in the film industry.”
He also shared a personal connection with the actor’s family, saying,
“Kunal Goswami, his son, is a very close friend of mine. I heard the news this morning. I know the family well, and I send them all my prayers. I hope they find the strength to cope with this huge loss.”
According to ANI, Manoj Kumar passed away at 4:03 AM at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Several celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and Ajay Devgn, have also paid their respects to the legendary actor.
Speaking of Sudhanshu Pandey, he is widely loved for his role as Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa. Apart from TV, he has acted in several Bollywood films like Singh Is Kinng, Singham, Radhe, and more.
Manoj Kumar may be gone, but the stories he told and the values he stood for will always be remembered.
