Manoj Kumar Passes Away: Arjun Bijlani and Rajiv Adatia Remember the Legendary Actor
Veteran Bollywood actor Manoj Kumar sadly passed away on April 4 at the age of 87. His death has left many in the entertainment industry heartbroken. Known for his powerful performances and patriotic films, Manoj Kumar’s contribution to Indian cinema is unforgettable.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Arjun Bijlani and Rajiv Adatia shared their sadness and memories of the legendary star.
Arjun Bijlani said,
“It’s truly heartbreaking to hear about Manoj Kumar sir’s passing. He was a real legend — not just an actor, but someone who inspired generations with his meaningful films. His movie Upkar was more than just a film, it was a lesson in patriotism, values, and humanity.”
Arjun recalled watching Manoj Kumar’s movies with his parents during his childhood.
“Those were special moments. He had a warmth and honesty in his acting that stayed with you even after the movie ended.”
Talking about how he looked up to Manoj Kumar as an actor, Arjun said,
“He brought so much emotion and sincerity to every role. We’ve lost a gem. His work will be remembered forever. Rest in peace, sir.”
Reality show star Rajiv Adatia also spoke to Pinkvilla about the actor’s passing. He said,
“Very saddened to hear about Manoj Kumar’s death. He was a legendary actor and a great performer. He added so much value to the film industry. This is a sad day for India. He gave us so much over the years. I pray his soul rests in peace. Sending strength and love to his family.”

Manoj Kumar passed away on the morning of April 4 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. According to ANI, his last rites will be held on April 5, 2025.
On the work front, Arjun Bijlani was last seen in Laughter Chefs, and Rajiv Adatia is currently one of the finalists in Celebrity MasterChef.
