Sudhanshu Pandey Remembers the Legend
After Manoj Kumar’s passing, Sudhanshu Pandey spoke with Pinkvilla and shared his feelings. He said,
“We have lost such a legend. I remember watching many of his films as a child—they were always so inspiring. His patriotic films like Purab Aur Paschim carried strong messages for society. Today, we’ve lost someone who truly changed and set new standards for the film industry.”
State Funeral Held in Mumbai
To honor Manoj Kumar’s contribution to Indian cinema and the nation, he was given a state funeral. The cremation took place at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai.
Apart from Sudhanshu Pandey, several other stars were present, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salim Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arbaaz Khan, Prem Chopra, Rajpal Yadav, Zayed Khan, and Vindu Dara Singh, among others. All of them came to pay their final respects to the legendary actor.
