During an interview on Something Haute, Hassan Choudary shared an interesting detail: It was Ameer’s mother who proposed the marriage! Hassan, who attended the wedding, mentioned that Mawra and Ameer might share their love story someday. However, he firmly stated, “Having known Mawra for a long time and asking her many times, I can say for sure that Mawra and Ameer were never dating.”
Despite people believing otherwise, Hassan clarified that Mawra and Ameer were always just close friends. He suggested that maybe they were exploring their bond before deciding to take the next step. Eventually, it was Ameer’s mother who took the first step in arranging the wedding. He revealed, “Ameer’s parents visited Mawra’s home, and that’s when the wedding was finalized in December.”
On February 5, 2025, Mawra and Ameer got married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. The celebrations were filled with love and joy.
