The Competition Heats Up
MTV Roadies has always been a show filled with tough challenges, rivalries, and high emotions. Contestants push their limits, while Gang Leaders strategize to stay on top. In this episode of MTV Roadies Double Cross, the fight for Roadiums (game currency) got intense.
- Prince Narula was leading with 10,000 Roadiums
- Rhea Chakraborty followed with 2,700 Roadiums
- Neha Dhupia and Elvish Yadav had zero
The race for Roadiums was tough, and contestants gave their all in the tasks.
Emotional Moments Before the Challenges
The episode began with a fitness challenge between Daksh, a 19-year-old fitness model from Delhi, and Devesh Sharma, a 23-year-old trainer from Kolkata. However, before the task even started, Devesh got emotional, sharing how his mother sacrificed a lot to support him. Host Rannvijay Singha comforted him, reminding everyone that expressing emotions is okay.
Meanwhile, contestant Ashi Kapoor, a filmmaking student from Mauritius, shared how she stood up to her abusive father to protect her mother. Another contestant, Sunil from Bangalore, amazed everyone with his ballet and tricking skills.
Prince and Elvish Clash!
Things took a fiery turn when Ashi challenged Neha Dhupia to an arm-wrestling match. However, Elvish Yadav stirred things up by suggesting she compete against Prince Narula instead.
This annoyed Prince, who snapped,
“Iska systumm wahi tak chalta hai!” (His system works only till a certain point!)
The argument escalated when Prince warned Elvish,
“Main tujhe ghusa maarunga!” (I’ll punch you!)
Elvish, staying calm, smirked and replied,
“Maarlo yaar, bade bhai maarlo!” (Go ahead, brother, punch me!)
More Fierce Battles and Twists
- Shweta Raje, a model from Jaipur, faced off against Kilingpi, a karate champion from Assam. Neha Dhupia admired Kilingpi’s traditional attire, while Elvish made playful comments, keeping the mood light.
- Elvish also opened up about his struggles, saying, “Maine jab start kara tha, uske ek saal tak mera kuch tha hi nahi, zero!” (When I started, I had nothing for a whole year, zero!) He added, “Yeh patience ka game hai.” (This industry is all about patience!)
- Rashmitha Shetty from Mangalore impressed everyone when she lifted Neha and did squats!
Age is Just a Number!
A surprise contestant, 57-year-old Ashu Jain, wowed everyone with her fitness. She earned her PhD at 53, proving that it’s never too late to chase dreams. Neha called it “The Ultimate Story of Self-Love.”
Jeanbi Gangmei, a police constable from Assam, also touched hearts when she shared that her father passed away the day she became a cop. The room was filled with emotions, but spirits lifted when Jeanbi and Ashu challenged the Gang Leaders to a fitness task!
Unexpected Drama Over a Phone Contact
The final battle was between Rohit Singh, a professional dancer, and Mannu Chaudhary, a five-time national powerlifting champion. However, the focus quickly shifted when Rhea Chakraborty spotted a strange contact in Mannu’s phone—”Siwet Guruji”—along with a message calling Siwet “the world’s biggest idiot.”
Rhea, shocked, confronted Mannu, calling him insecure. Prince defended Mannu, saying,
“Yaaro dosti mein hota hai, bohot kuch bol dete hain ek dusre ko!” (Friends joke around and say a lot of things to each other!)
