Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Mom’s Favorite Scene from Kick Revealed – And It’s Hilarious!

EXCLUSIVE: Nawazuddin Siddiqui Shares His Mom’s Favorite Scene from Kick — And Her Reason Will Make You Laugh!

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently making waves in Bollywood with his latest release, Costao. While he’s been acting since 1999, he rose to fame after Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012. Over time, he became known for films like The Lunchbox, Badlapur, and Kick.

In a recent exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Nawazuddin talked about a fun and surprising moment involving his mother. He revealed her favorite scene from the 2014 blockbuster Kick, which starred Salman Khan. Interestingly, her favorite moment is the one where Nawaz’s character is seen sitting on a huge pile of cash.

When asked about his mother’s reaction to seeing him on the big screen, Nawaz shared a light-hearted memory. He said, “In Kick, I was wearing good clothes and sitting on a bed made of money. My mom really liked that scene.” Laughing, he added, “I still don’t know why she liked it so much — but she did!”

The actor explained further, “Many of you must’ve seen Kick. There’s a scene where I’m sitting on stacks of currency notes, all dressed up. My mom liked that a lot. Till now, I don’t know what exactly she liked — the money or the outfit!”

Kick, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, was a huge hit when it came out in 2014. The film starred Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.

Talking about Nawaz’s latest work, Costao is a biographical crime drama now streaming on ZEE5. The story follows Costao Fernandes, a bold customs officer from the 1990s, who takes on a major smuggling ring while facing challenges from corrupt officials in his own department. Nawaz plays the lead role in this intense and gripping film.

Directed by Sejal Shah in her debut, Costao features a talented cast including Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Hussain Dalal, and others. The film has received praise for its tight story and Nawaz’s strong performance.

Looking ahead, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has several exciting films lined up including Section 108, Noorani Chehra, Thama, and Raat Akeli Hai 2.
