EXCLUSIVE: Neha Harsora from Udne Ki Aasha talks about being called a ‘TV actor’ and shares her dream of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Neha Harsora, who plays the lead role in the TV show Udne Ki Aasha, is winning hearts with her acting. She has become quite popular and has gained many fans. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Neha opened up about her future dreams, especially her wish to work in films and team up with famous Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She also shared her thoughts about being called a “TV actor.”
Wants to Work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali
When asked which filmmaker she would like to work with, Neha quickly said, “I really want to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”
She added, “He has done amazing work. I feel he brings out the best in actors. That’s why I want to work with him.”
Her View on the “TV Actor” Label
Many people in the television industry are labeled as “TV actors” instead of just “actors.” Neha, who has been acting for about 2 to 3 years, shared her opinion on this. She said, “Maybe this label has some meaning, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m proud to be a TV actor. I’m working and I’m happy—that’s what matters to me.”
She added that she doesn’t focus on labels or comparisons. “Whatever I deserve, I will get based on my talent and experience. I don’t compare myself to others. I’m truly happy with what I have,” she said honestly.
Open to All Kinds of Work
Neha also talked about her career goals. She said she is open to all kinds of work, as long as she feels comfortable with it. “I don’t have any particular choice. If something feels right, I’ll go for it. I’m not picky. The platform doesn’t matter to me—what matters is the work,” she explained.
Reality Shows? She’s Not Sure Yet
When asked about joining reality shows like Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi, Neha said she isn’t sure.
“I don’t know yet, let’s see what happens with time. Bigg Boss is fun, but I’m not someone who fights. For Khatron Ke Khiladi, I’m actually very scared! So I can’t say if I’ll enjoy it or if I’ll even do it.”
Happy with the Success of Udne Ki Aasha
Neha also spoke about her current show, Udne Ki Aasha, where she stars opposite Kanwar Dhillon. She said she started the show hoping to prove her skills. She never expected it to become so popular or rank so high.
“I never dreamed it would be this big. I’ve received more love than I ever imagined,” Neha said with a smile.
