Nikki Tamboli Calls Gaurav Khanna ‘Insecure’ in Heated Argument on Celebrity MasterChef
A new promo of Celebrity MasterChef has sparked buzz as Nikki Tamboli and Gaurav Khanna get into a heated argument. The popular cooking reality show is known for its intense challenges, but this time, it’s making headlines for drama between contestants.
Sony TV shared a new promo on their official social media handle, showing Nikki angrily walking out of the set. As she stormed off, she said, “I’m leaving the set. This is disrespect. Do whatever you want, but unless he apologizes, I won’t return.”
The promo also reveals what led to this moment. The contestants were bidding on cooking time when Farah Khan asked Nikki and Gaurav to make their bids. Gaurav declared 15 minutes, which upset Nikki, as she felt he was trying to counter her time.
While the contestants continued cooking, chef Ranveer Brar pointed out that Nikki was channeling her anger into her cooking. Nikki herself admitted that her dish could either be her worst or her best.
During the argument, Nikki said, “Gaurav should accept that he is an insecure man.” Gaurav defended himself, replying, “It’s not insecurity, it’s called being competitive.” Nikki, however, stood by her words, saying, “I don’t think anyone has the guts to say it, but he is.” Gaurav looked shocked at Nikki’s statement.
Celebrity MasterChef premiered on January 27 and is judged by Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar. The show currently features contestants like Tejasswi Prakash, Rajiv Adatia, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, and Archana Gautam.
