Pawandeep Rajan Health Update: Indian Idol 12 Winner Undergoes More Surgeries, Team Shares Statement
Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan was recently injured in a serious accident. Since then, his team has been regularly updating fans about his condition. In the latest update, it’s been confirmed that he has gone through another major surgery.
Pawandeep, 28, met with an accident on May 5 near Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, while he was heading to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. A day later, on May 6, his team shared the first official update. Now, they’ve posted another message on his Instagram story.
According to the latest update, Pawandeep is still in the ICU under close observation after undergoing three more surgeries that lasted for 8 hours.

His team shared:
“Hi everyone, Pawan has undergone 3 more surgeries yesterday. Early morning, he was taken into the OT and after 8 long hours, all his remaining fractures were operated successfully. Though he is still in ICU under observation and will remain there for few more days.”
They also thanked fans for their love and support, writing:
“As the doctor rightly said, now the healing and recovery process has started. Let’s just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again, thank you everyone for all the blessings and prayers.”

Pawandeep’s close friend, Govind Digari, also gave an update on social media. He posted a photo of Pawandeep lying in the hospital bed with a smile on his face, showing signs of recovery. Govind wrote:
“Aap sabhi ke aashirwad se Pawan ab kaafi theek hai” (With all your blessings, Pawan is now doing much better.)

For those who may not know, the accident happened when Pawandeep’s car crashed into a parked truck near Chopla Chauraha overbridge. He was traveling in an MG Hector with his friend Ajay Mehra and their driver Rahul Singh.
As per police reports, the driver, Rahul Singh, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and crash.
