Pawandeep Rajan Health Update: Singer to Undergo Another Surgery After 6-Hour Operation

Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan was recently in a serious car accident, and his team has now shared an update on his health. Thankfully, they’ve confirmed that he’s doing better.

On May 5, early in the morning, Pawandeep’s car crashed into another vehicle near Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The 28-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital right after the accident. According to reports, he suffered several serious fractures and other injuries.

First Official Statement from Pawandeep’s Team

Pawandeep’s team shared an official statement through his Instagram story, thanking fans for their support and prayers. The message explained that he was on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event when the accident happened.

The statement read:
“Hi everyone, as many of you know, Pawandeep met with a serious road accident on May 5 near Moradabad, UP, while heading to Delhi for a flight. At first, he was treated at a nearby hospital, but was later shifted to a better facility in Delhi NCR. He has multiple serious fractures and a few smaller injuries.”

They added, “Yesterday was a very tough day for his family and everyone who cares about him. He was in severe pain and unconscious for a while. After many tests, he went into surgery around 7 PM. The operation lasted for 6 hours, and some of his major fractures were successfully treated. He is now in the ICU under observation. In 3-4 days, he will have another surgery for the remaining fractures.”

The team also thanked fans again for all their love and prayers.

How the Accident Happened

For those who may not know, Pawandeep was traveling from his hometown to Noida with his friend Ajay Mehra and their driver Rahul Singh in an MG Hector car. According to the police, Rahul, who was driving, may have fallen asleep at the wheel. He lost control, and the car crashed into the back of a truck, causing the accident.
