In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary opened up about a tough time in her life when her father suffered a heart attack while they were on vacation.
Priyanka Remembers the Difficult Time
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary became a household name after her time on Bigg Boss 16. Recently, she appeared on Pinkvilla’s Behind the Success show, where she talked about her journey in the entertainment industry. During the conversation, she also shared an emotional moment about her father’s health emergency.
She recalled that while they were on vacation in Nashik, her father suddenly fell sick. Priyanka shared a picture with her parents and talked about how happy they were to visit a resort for the first time. She also mentioned that her father was not supposed to eat certain foods, but since it was his first trip, he ate a few things he shouldn’t have.
A Sudden Health Crisis
While Priyanka was busy shooting a campaign, she didn’t know that her father was feeling unwell. She later found out that he had hidden his condition from her because he didn’t want to disturb her work.
“My brother took him to the hospital while I was still shooting. When I came back, I was looking for my dad,” Priyanka shared.
Her mother then told her that her father had suffered a mini heart attack. The actress remembered how she was running around until midnight, worried about her dad. She also expressed how sad it makes her when parents don’t share their problems with their children.
Her Father’s Health Now
Giving an update on his health, Priyanka shared that her father is doing well now and is following a strict diet to stay healthy.

On the work front, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has been part of many fictional and reality shows, including Udaariyaan and Bigg Boss 16. Udaariyaan, which starred Priyanka, Ankit Gupta, and Isha Malviya, made her popular, but it was her time on Bigg Boss 16 that truly made her a fan favorite.
