Terence Lewis Recalls the Moment
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Terence said, “This happened around 2010. I was returning from Kolkata and sitting in the business class lounge, waiting for my flight.”
He continued, “I can’t name the celebrity sitting across from me, but suddenly, the airport’s general manager came up to me and said, ‘Sir! You’re here? Wow! My whole family loves watching your show. My kids are your fans! And my wife is your biggest fan—can you take a photo with her?’”
Terence agreed and said, “Sure, bring her over. I have 30 minutes before my flight.” But the manager replied, “Sir, my house is 45 minutes away. But I will get that photo no matter what!” Terence laughed and asked, “What about the flight?” The manager boldly replied, “I won’t let the flight leave until we take the picture!”
Priyanka’s Sweet Reaction
While all this was happening, Priyanka Chopra, who was sitting nearby, watched the whole scene. Terence shared, “We had worked on shows before. I used to choreograph for her. Back then, I was just a young dancer trying to make it. She saw the commotion, called me over and said, ‘Come, sit with me. What’s going on in your life?’”
He told her how his TV show had become a big success and reached many hearts. Priyanka replied with a big smile, “That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you. Kudos to you!”

When the airport manager finally returned with his wife, she was shocked to see Priyanka Chopra there too. Sensing the excitement, Priyanka did something truly sweet—she offered to take the picture herself for Terence and the fan.
