EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Is a New Season of Qubool Hai Coming? Surbhi Jyoti Finally Speaks Out
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, popular TV actress Surbhi Jyoti opened up about the rumors of a new season of Qubool Hai. She also shared her thoughts on possibly working again with her former co-star Karan Singh Grover.
Surbhi Jyoti became a household name for her role as Zoya in Qubool Hai, a show that was loved by fans. Even though she has done many other shows since then, fans still remember her most for Qubool Hai. So naturally, many people have been wondering if the show is coming back with a new season.
When asked about it, Surbhi said clearly, “No. We already did a season called Qubool Hai 2.0, but we’re not continuing that either because of some internal issues with the channel. So no, we are not shooting Qubool Hai again.”
Though this news might disappoint fans, Surbhi did give a little hope. She added, “We can definitely work on something else. Let’s manifest that! We can play different characters. But as for Qubool Hai and the roles of Zoya and Asad — that’s not happening.”
She also spoke about her bond with Karan Singh Grover. Even though they don’t talk all the time, they still share a good connection. Surbhi said, “He’s there for me, and I’m there for him. What we share is beautiful.”
For those who don’t know, Qubool Hai aired from 2012 to 2016 and starred Surbhi Jyoti as Zoya and Karan Singh Grover as Asad. The show was a huge success and later came back as Qubool Hai 2.0 on an OTT platform.
On the work front, Surbhi was last seen in the lead role in Naagin 3 on television.
