Rajeev Sen Blames Ex-Wife Charu Asopa for Keeping Daughter Away and Questions Her Money Issues; Charu Responds
Rajeev Sen has once again spoken out about his ex-wife, actress Charu Asopa. He recently accused her of keeping their daughter Ziana away from him and questioned her claims of having financial problems. Charu, on the other hand, has given a strong reply to his comments.
Charu made news earlier for selling clothes online, saying she was going through a tough financial time. She had also revealed that she moved from Mumbai to Bikaner, Rajasthan, with her daughter. She mentioned that Rajeev was informed about the move. But now, Rajeev has accused her of not letting him see their daughter and says her financial claims don’t add up.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Rajeev said,
“Charu has learned how to keep my daughter away from me. I feel sad for Ziana because she’s the one missing out.”
He said he hasn’t seen Ziana since January. He even tried to visit her in Bikaner but got no response from Charu. Even though she says he can come anytime, he feels she hasn’t made it easy for him.
Talking about her selling clothes online, Rajeev said he appreciates her effort but doesn’t believe she’s really facing a money crunch. He pointed out that Charu recently went on a cruise vacation with her brother and sister-in-law and paid for everyone’s tickets.
“No one who’s struggling with money would do that,” he said.
Rajeev also said that she is planning to buy a house in Bikaner, which is a big financial step. He added that in her daily vlogs, she’s often seen shopping and traveling, which doesn’t match with what she’s saying about her financial condition.
In response, Charu shared Rajeev’s interview on her Instagram Stories with a sarcastic caption:
“Wow, that’s beautiful. Whatever I do is always drama for this man.”
Rajeev also expressed frustration that Charu talks about their private life in public and turns it into content. He said he’s worried about Ziana’s well-being. He also said that his family had forgiven Charu, not to patch things up, but just to give their daughter a good and safe environment.
Earlier, Charu had shared in an interview that she moved to Bikaner over a month ago because living in Mumbai was too expensive, costing around ₹1–1.5 lakh a month. She also said it was tough to leave Ziana with a nanny while she was shooting. So she decided to move and start selling clothes online to manage her expenses.
