Will ACP Pradyuman’s Role End in CID? Shivaji Satam Finally Speaks Up
The thriller show CID has been a favorite for years and needs no introduction. Recently, rumors started spreading that Shivaji Satam, who plays the iconic ACP Pradyuman, would be exiting the show. This news made many fans emotional and worried. Now, Shivaji Satam has finally spoken about it in a recent interview.
In a chat with Bombay Times, Shivaji said he doesn’t know if his character’s journey in CID is really coming to an end.
“I have no clue whether my track is ending. Right now, I’m just on a break. The makers know what they want to do next. If it’s the end for my character, I’m okay with it.”
Shivaji, who has been part of CID since the beginning, also shared that he’s not shooting for the show right now. He revealed that he decided to take a break in May to spend time with his son, who lives abroad.
The Vaastav actor shared how much he has loved playing ACP Pradyuman for the last 22 years, saying the show has given him so much.
“I’ve worked really hard, and I believe everyone deserves a break. Right now, I just want to enjoy life.”
He also added that he’s not sure whether his character will return to the show in the future.
However, as per reports, ACP Pradyuman’s track might end with a bomb blast in the show.
CID, which made a comeback on December 21, 2024, currently airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM on Sony TV. The show stars Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Sparsh Khanchandani, Hrishikesh Pandey, and others in important roles.
