Rajiv Adatia Shares a Heartwarming Connection with Lata Mangeshkar, Reveals Her Words Before His Bigg Boss Journey
Rajiv Adatia, a popular figure in the entertainment world, recently shared a touching tribute to India’s legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. As 2025 begins, Rajiv penned a heartfelt note on Instagram, remembering his “Godmother” and their special bond.
In his post, Rajiv shared several photos with the late singer, including a memorable moment where Lata Mangeshkar herself was seen taking his picture. Recalling this, he wrote, “Lata didi… how I miss you. Not many people know, but she was my Godmother, and she treated me like her Godson! We had such a divine connection.”
The Story Behind a Special Photo
Rajiv reminisced about the first photo in his post, where Lata Mangeshkar held the camera. “This first pic—I was in awe! I used to visit her every time I was in Mumbai. One day, she said, ‘Let me take some pictures of you.’ She loved photography! I asked her niece to click this moment because no one would believe that the Lata Mangeshkar was taking my picture. Till today, she is always in my thoughts.”
Her Birthday Wishes and Bigg Boss Advice
Rajiv also shared how the Lukka Chuppi singer always made his birthdays extra special. “She would be the first to wish me on my birthday,” he wrote. Before he entered the Bigg Boss house, she gave him advice he cherishes to this day. “I remember, she wasn’t well at the time, but she said, ‘I will be watching you! Go and make everyone happy.’ I miss her so much. We have truly lost a gem.”
