Ashish Chanchlani’s lawyer was spotted by paparazzi in the city. When asked about the case, he said,
“Everything will be in the media pretty soon. Can’t comment much. As of now, the matter is sub judice; kuch bol nahi sakte (we can’t say anything right now).”
When the media pushed for more details, the lawyer firmly stated that nothing could be revealed at this stage.

For those who don’t know, the controversy began after a video from India’s Got Latent went viral. The episode featured Ashish Chanchlani, Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Makhija, and Jaspreet Singh.
During the show, Ranveer Allahbadia asked a highly inappropriate question:
“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”
The remark sparked massive outrage, and many slammed Ranveer, also known as BeerBiceps, for making such a comment.

Following the backlash, a police FIR was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia and the other guests, including Ashish Chanchlani, under charges of promoting obscenity and vulgarity.
