India’s Got Latent Controversy: Ranveer Allahbadia says ‘Samay Raina will be back’, shares he lost ‘mental health and money’
The India’s Got Latent controversy is still making headlines as legal matters continue. It’s been two months since the issue began, and those involved — like Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and others — are slowly returning to their normal lives. But Samay Raina, who hosted the show, has been away from work since the controversy started. Now, Ranveer has given an update about his friendship with Samay and shared thoughts on Samay’s possible comeback.

On Wednesday (April 16), Ranveer, also known as BeerBiceps, held an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on his Instagram story. A follower asked him, “Are you in touch with Samay Raina?”
Ranveer replied warmly, saying that this tough time has brought him, Samay, Apoorva, and Ashish closer. He wrote, “Samay will be back. All of us have gotten closer after everything that happened. We support each other in both good and bad times. My brother is already a media legend. God is watching over all of us. Just want to say love you @ashishchanchlani & @the.rebel.kid as well. Picture abhi baaki hai…”

Ranveer opens up about the impact on his life
During the session, another follower asked Ranveer how his parents were doing and how he was holding up mentally. Ranveer responded honestly, saying, “This part of the chaos hurt the most. When you work, your actions affect your loved ones. But my parents are fighters — that’s where I get my strength from. It was hard, but we’re getting through it.”
Ranveer admitted he hasn’t fully recovered from what happened, but he added, “God is with me, I know it.”

Concern for his team and what he lost
When asked about his biggest fear during the controversy, Ranveer said he was most worried about the families of his team members. His team has over 300 people, and their jobs were at risk. He shared that he’s still trying to cope but is doing everything he can to keep things going.
One follower asked what he lost during the India’s Got Latent controversy and how he plans to recover. Ranveer replied, “Lost: health, money, opportunity, reputation, mental peace, my parents’ happiness, and more.”
But he also shared what he gained: “Gained: transformation, spiritual growth, and toughness. I’ll work slowly to get everything back. Let the work speak.”
For those who don’t know:
On April 15, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell called both Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia for questioning for the third time. Both showed up and gave their statements.
