‘Voh Maarega…’: Raveena Tandon Reveals What Karan Johar Asked Before Using Her Name in ‘Kar Gayi Chull’; Watch Indian Idol 15 Promo
Ahead of the grand finale of Indian Idol 15, Bollywood star Raveena Tandon appeared as a special guest on the show. During her chat with the judges, she shared a fun and surprising story about Karan Johar and the hit song ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ by rapper Badshah.
In a promo shared by Sony TV on social media, judge Shreya Ghoshal brought up the popular party song Kar Gayi Chull, which mentions Raveena’s name. She asked Raveena how she felt when she heard the song for the first time and whether she knew about it before its release.
Raveena laughed and said:
“Honestly, I had no idea it was going to happen. I remember Karan Johar called me. We were already fans of him and Badshah. We used to listen to all his rap songs. They were super cool!”
Raveena continued:
“Karan said, ‘I need permission to use your name in a song.’ I said, ‘That’s so sweet, of course, go ahead!’
But then he added, ‘No, wait… what about Anil Thadani (Raveena’s husband)? Will he be okay with this? Will he beat me up? Please ask him first!’”
She then joked:
“Karan made me listen to a couple of lines, and it was the cutest thing. I thought, Even if Anil says no, I’ll still say yes to Badshah!”
Along with Raveena, the grand finale of Indian Idol 15 will also feature Shilpa Shetty and Mika Singh as special guests. The finale episodes will be aired on Sony TV on April 5 (Saturday) and April 6 (Sunday) at 8:30 PM.
